Job Title: Trainee Telecommunication Technician
Eligibility Criteria:
- Six (6) passes at the G.C.E. (O/L) exam, including Sinhala/Tamil, English Language, and Mathematics, with 3 credit passes in one sitting.
- Male candidates only.
- Age: Up to 35 years.
Training Program Details:
- Duration: 2 years (6 days per week).
- In-House Training: Saturdays or Sundays (09:00 to 17:00) at SLT-Mobitel Nebula Institute of Technology, Moratuwa.
- In-Plant Training: Monday to Friday (09:00 to 17:00) at SLT Regional Operations Centers across the island.
- Medium of Instruction: English and Sinhala.
- Internship Allowance: LKR 1,500 per day during in-plant training.
- Certification: NVQ Level 4, assessed by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).
Benefits Upon Completion:
- NVQ Level 4 certified trainees with a valid driving license (minimum B class) will be considered for permanent employment as Technician-A15, subject to vacancy availability.

Program Fee:
- Total course fee: LKR 108,000 (deducted in 24 installments of LKR 4,500 from the internship allowance).
