Position: Trainee Crewing / Port Agency Executive
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in crew recruitment processes.
- Liaise with principals to propose suitable crew for vessel vacancies.
- Maintain strong relationships with crew members and government authorities.
- Coordinate pre-joining formalities (Medicals, Visas, Documentation).
- Act as ship agent during vessel calls in Sri Lankan ports.
- Manage crew uniforms and personal protective equipment distribution.
- Arrange air tickets and hotel accommodations for crew members.
- Monitor and renew company certifications and licenses.
- Prepare monthly debit notes and invoices for submission to principals.
- Update the crew database with new applications.
Candidate Profile:
- Male/Female, aged 18-22.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy.
- Candidates residing near Rajagiriya preferred.
